I'm taking a Politics class in school and the topic of gay adoption/marriage came up and I was wondering what your opinions of it? (I looked for a pre-existing thread for it and couldn't find it)
But do you think that they should be illegal? I agree that sometime there are better ways, such as not getting married unless you love someone in the first place regardless of sexual orientation, but sometimes it's the best thing to do when things go bad in a marriage.

well, technicly they were in love at one point. however if one day goes by and you dont love your spouse- thats fine, but it doesnt mean to call a divorce.Garenntee you wake up the next morning loving eachother

So if, for a more out there example, a drunken husband comes home and beats his wife/kids every day, it does not call for a divorce?
hmm i think the wife would know her husband was an alcholic and or abusive. if she didnt, then she should've got to know him more before jumping to marrige

What if he wasn't when hey first got married? You can't blame the wife for not foreseeing events that might drive her husband to alcoholism and abuse.
hey i have a question: do you get fines for getting a divorce?
You sometimes have to pay lawyers to get a divorce but to my knowledge you aren't required to pay a fine; that would insinuate that you did something wrong in the government's eyes.
I am against gay marriage. Look at the biology. Doesn't the biology of sexual intercourse kinda point that we were not designed to have same sex marriage?
