I'm taking a Politics class in school and the topic of gay adoption/marriage came up and I was wondering what your opinions of it? (I looked for a pre-existing thread for it and couldn't find it)
I dont support the act, but i still love the people
You SHOULD support the act because it's between two consenting adults, which is no one else's business AND how can you love someone but deny them their basic rights? It's like saying you can't marry cause of your race or your eye color.
About the homosexual adoption my skepticism is due to a concern that since there are such powerful stereotypes against homoeroticism that the youngster will be ostracized or even hassled because of their parents being gay.
You can be harassed for anything it seems. You can be harassed and ostracized because your hetero parents are too poor, fat, skinny, tall. Ostracized also for not having the latest gadgets, book bags, lunch boxes, anything.

Frankly, I can't answer your question, because I have no idea how my character would be if I were an orphan. I don't know what and how I would think, ergo I cannot know what I would prefer.

Hey, you fire and grim yeah you. Ever stop to think that you were being massive hypocrites? It's his choice to not approve of the act like it's homosexual's choice to adopt or have sex at all. Yes I understand that it's most likely genetic but that doesn't mean you have to have sex it's a choice. Just because you think you're right doesn't mean you are.

Not at all. Of course gay communities and the sort would start to appear. But that can't be helped. People want to live by people that are similiar to them.
