I'm taking a Politics class in school and the topic of gay adoption/marriage came up and I was wondering what your opinions of it? (I looked for a pre-existing thread for it and couldn't find it)
Yes, I've been to a number of Gay Pride parades where certain... self-important groups use the event to gain publicity and protest against some ridiculously minor and unimportant things.
I certainly point the finger of shame towards the Vatican.
I remember that the Vatican's early reaction to the 2002 revelations of general Church cover-ups of sexual abuse by priests was to declare that gay men should not be ordained.

I always pointed the finger of shame towards ad hominem attacks.
I've noticed that certain age groups and social classes seem to have a different ratio of butch to non-butch with the overall majority going to butch.
You know, I keep hearing about these butch lesbians, but the closest thing I've ever seen is a bisexual with short hair. Around here, lesbians seem to lean away from the "butch" "end" of the "spectrum". Which supports your observation, I suppose.
because on first glances and first impressions, they seemed cute, heterosexual girls.
Lol, no I didn't, I just meant that they were cute. As it is, I haven't had many encounters with lesbian women, so I can't really make good arguments or speculation.
opps forgot to talk about adopption yea sure they can addopt i mean its not like a guy he cant become pregenant and well for gils there's this thing called sperm doners or if they dont want pregnacy well sure you can adopt too
Edit The Bible can't be trusted can it? It's a document thousands of years old.Edited by anyone who ever wanted to..Add passages they want, take them out.
I think some people feel that having gay parents will turn a child gay.You can have straight parents and turn out gay. I would suspect gay parents would just be happy for their children no matter what sexual orientation they were.

The evidence suggests that homosexuality is not a conscious choice, but may be the result of epigenetics.
Epigenetic: Something that affects a cell, organ or individual without directly affecting its DNA. An epigenetic change may indirectly influence the expression of the genome.
