Why do half the people who visit the WEPR forums smear Christianity? Why don't you people realize that, yeah, Christians can be real dumb-a** mofo's from time to time, but yet there are many, many Christian organizations out there that do good all across the globe. Why must you spend your time trying to convince people that Christians are bad people when that is simply not true?

I dont see the connection between that and killing people in the crusades.

Then he should have clarified, as a lot of lives could have been spared. As Mage has said, they believed they were bringing glory to God. By doing so, they believed they would go to Heaven this way.

Mage, dont take verse 19 out of context
Matthew 18:19-20 "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
This isnt reffering to a selfish desire of two men, but the prayer of people gatherd in Gods name

Not to be raceist in any way, but isn't that what radical Islamics are doing? And they've killed over twice... and thats just my estimate, it's probably alot more than that.

Why do we stare at the Crusades, 'radical' Christains that we're around over 800 years ago, when we have radical Islamcs right now?

I do it when modern Christians claim Christians are always and have always been good and don't kill for their religion.

Muslim attack tolls: thousands

Christian attack tolls: tens of millions

Like Hell I'll let them cover this up! Yes, we have Radical Muslims now, but they will be taken care of. And if there isn't any answer or apology to what has occurred in the past, then that's yet another reason to smear Christians.

They are opening the rug and sweeping the dust underneath.

I wasn't taking it out of context and it doesn't seem to put limits on what can be asked for.

Hey you guy are so worried about me going to hell how about this. Get together with your friends and pray that God will appear in my living room at midnight Eastern Standard Time in the form of George Burns.
I know you might not be able to do this prayer right now, but hey this being is suppose to be all powerful, so preceding cause shouldn't be that hard for him. Since you would be doing this to save my soul it would be a completely selfless prayer.

Well in that case, I will pray. If it does happen, be sure to tell us.
If not, well, God just might do it at another time, another place... and maybe another George. Washington maybe =D

Still looking for quotes.

Well so far this is what I've got.

Crusades: 1 Million - 2 Million Ok, so you're right. BUT.
This includes the deaths of the christian attackers, which you must also know this:

The first two crusades the christians won. But, they LOST the ones following. The next four.

So actually, there were probably more christians in the death toll of their own war that the ones they fought.

9/11: 3000, including 19 hijackers.

This is only 9/11, and thats still alot of people. 3000 families still hurting today.

Where are the families of the christians who died and the ones the christians killed today?
