Who's got them and why? I had an eye exam today and will be having to get glasses for the first time for astigmatism in my right eye. I should get my glasses sometime after the holiday.
I've had them for a long time, now. Bad eyes, no real "why" to it. Fun fact: I didn't actually wear them consistently until I took a trip to Canada with my grandparents who wouldn't let me leave the room until I put them on.
It was a horrible experience overall, but that's the one good thing I took from it.
i got them because i am purblind. it started when i was twelve. i sat in the last row in class and i cant read what there stand on the black bord. the teacher thought i did not want to read it out loud and i had to go to the principal. after a long talk with my mother and me i was sent to an eye specialist. he said i need glasses, it took not long and i had them. at first i stared at my hands like i was high, but then i acclimatized to them.
I have glasses. I look awful with them, whenever I take them off to clean them people stare at me and say 'Wow, you are so pretty without your glasses on!' Vanity aside, they are also inconvenient because of stuff like how dirty they get and how bright the sun gets with them.
