Now I want to explain something first of all; I love this website. I love the variety of games, I love the developers and their blogs and I 'used' to love the forums and game comments, but recently that's been changing.
Now I've been a regular here for around two years. At first I just played the odd game here and there and lurked on the forums now and then but eventually I got round to making an account. I started commenting on the games I liked, making some forum posts almost exclusively in the flash games section and generally getting more involved. However it seems to me that the game comments are becoming more and more just youtube comments version 2. And the forums aren't a whole lot better.
So my question is; do you agree? Is the community here dumbing down, possibly even ruining the fun for you or do you think I'm just talking out of my rear end? Discuss!
I guess it all depends on how you see it... most of the people who post the best comments are busy a lot and so they don't get a lot of time to be on the site anymore. At least, that's how I look at it.
Well, we also get those kinds of people, but they usually run away after a couple days, a week tops
This made me laugh. I think people become nervous about trying to have conversations or discussions on forums like this when it's filled with nonsense. Not strictly true all the time but I personally think there's a lot of people here who are very intelligent and they simply don't bother showing that.
If that makes sense. Obviously I'm not one of those people.
Yes I agree I was here a couple months ago and it was great.Their were game tournaments, contests, polls, and all that great stuff.Then I went inactive for some time and now that I'm back I'm wondering what the heck happened.This new generation of Armor Games is much different and I don't like it that much.Can anyone help me?
