If you had a button that gave you One Million Dollars at the expense of one random human life every time you pressed it, how many times would you press it?

I figure this will show human greed. You become richer by the press, but also destroy someone elses life. Not to mention there family and loved ones.

How many times would i press it? hehehehe...

All of this is hypothetical so no ones going ask you how you got rich.

At the expense of ruining someone else life by killing one of there family members?

I don't think I would press it. Unless one of my family members would need a major surgery or were really sick and we couldn't afford to pay for the hospital bills. I would have to press it. Though I would be sad for doing it. Because it ruined someone else life.

This is the entire plot of the movie 'The Box'. I wouldn't press it: it would go against my morals and ethics.

I would only press it if it was absolutely necessary. I don't really need money.

Not worth killing all those people. And many people would try to murder you and rob you because you have so much money.

As stated above. I would only press it if I really need the money for something very important.

None unless they want my billion dollar security system to plasma cannon their face! (Hypothetical)

Also everyone on the world would have a secret computer chip implant that would explode their head at their first thought of hatred toward me. (Hypothetical)

"Are you sure I probably won't know them?"
"Absolutely probably not!"

In all honesty, I would press it. Once. Maybe. And hope to hell someone I care about doesn't die.

"Robot Devil? I get your hands?"

Well there are nearly 7 billion people on Earth, sooo...

Your more likely to get hit by a flying cow than kill someone you know or care about I say.

Well it depends... If I needed to help someone out with their house or they needed surgery then I may press it. If I was evil though...I would press the button until it breaks.

I would never press it. I would consider pressing it because it is in my compulsive nature to do so, but I most likely won't be able to sleep knowing that such a button existed.

New rule, breaking the button kills everyone you love, and everyone who loves you.

i would not press the million dollar button. for all i know, the random person that dies could be the leader of a country, a scientist working on something that could revolutionize the modern age, or the pilot of a plane carrying nukes, however unlikely the last one may be.

Now that I think about it I don't think I would press it either.
The person that dies could actually be one of my family members or friends.

@OP you stole this from a movie.
I would rather steal the money from a casino with eleven other guys.
