What do you think should be done about bullying? Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever been the bully? What kinds of bullying are there.
With bullying becoming a growing problem in America, how do you think it should be delt with. It is a federal offense to bully anyone based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, race, ethnicity, or national origin. Have you ever been bullied based on any of these things? If so now is the time to speak out on bullying before anyone else becomes a victim.

He quoted what I said, I replied to his question.
I just wasn't as clear as you would've liked me to have been.

I don't feel like this forum is really about the topic anymore, it's more like showing who use their brain more effectivly to type snyde remarks and belittle eachothers values.

Damen this threat kicked to page 10 while I was sleeping.
I don't think a 0 tolerance policy would be any good. Even if it stops bulling (doubt), it would fail to let people develop out of school social skills. So I think the school still should do something but not as extreme as 0 tolerance. Bullys don't just end when school ends you know.

Zero tolerance is more in the cases of actual physical violence rather than bullying. Usually kids are smart enough to learn from their mistakes in those cases meaning that the bullying is never caught because the victim never reports it and the bullies keep it low key enough to remain unnoticed.

Some point in a persons life, you will witness, be the victim or be the one bullying another, either it's mentally or verbally. Just depends how you are at tolerating others and being the bigger person.

Not in all cases.

Some people do it because they have mental problems of their own, jealousy or because they can.

There's probably a few more reasons, though.

Another cause is personal insecurity... But sometimes people just become jerk-*****.

Because its fun to make fun of people?

Your the one offended, so you must be the insecure one.

Verbal bullying is really not a problem. As we have gone over many times before.

You really think driving one to suicidal intentions is "fun?"

If someone is driven to suicide by words, especially words said by someone they never knew, will never know, and have never even seen over the internet, then they are the biggest wimp on the planet and would have probably done the same if someone forgot to say "bless you" after they sneezed.

But I do find it fun to poke holes in ideas that are already Swiss cheese. You called that bullying earlier. So, by that definition, I think bullying is fun.
