Well a lot of people have been telling me evolution is real. They give me the most craziest surreal 'facts'. Has anyone discovered any fish with legs? Any humans with gills or fins? If you put all the pieces of a watch into you're pocket and shake it around for trillions of years, will it ever become a watch? Is there but one possibility? Or if you completely dismantle a chicken and a fish, and put it into a box, shaking it around for trillions of years. Will it ever become a fish with wings? or a chicken with fins? :l

No recordable changes

Did you just seriously do that? I said sudden, not recordable. Don't change what my post contained--that is fallacious. Like I said, there are no sudden changes because Evolution does not work like that. The process is very, very slow.

Still how would they just suddenly know how to shoot a gun..

Apes could over time have increased their intelligence to the point where they can figure out how to shoot a weapon. But nothing just "suddenly knows" how to shoot a gun. That is definitely not how Evolution works.

Of course evolution doesn't work like that .. SO.. I'm really just an evolved brainiac ape? Aren't we all? Slow huh. In ten years I predict I'm turning into a human with wings, fangs and claws. ^_^

How did our eyes evolve then?

Evolution of the Eye, very easy to look up and learn. Notice how the video says "less than half a million years". Something like the evolution of the eye is relatively faster than other processes, yet it still takes half a million years for: a sensory organ to an organ to sense multiple perspectives, to an organ to produce vision. Evolution is not a fast, simple process.

[quote]Still how would they just suddenly know how to shoot a gun..

Apes are able to understand human technology/language with basic efficiency. They are a fairly intelligent species among the animal kingdom. They have the ability to communicate with humans through sign language and demonstrate cognitive thinking and problem solving.
They are relatively close to a human level of sentience
(compared to other animals) and may have viewed humans doing so before. And really, a gun is not hard to shoot; all you do is pull a trigger. Hope that answered the problem.

Done evolving? How can you tell? After all evolution is slow.
Still, ten years from now, I'll have wings, fangs and claws. Then my intelligence will 'increase'. I could build a robot using parts from a ice cream machine.

If you are not going to take a learning opportunity seriously and just throw baseless sarcasm in my helping self, then I'm not going to try further. I have given you information, explained questions you had doubts for, and have given you all of my attention. Yet, all you do is toss that aside and claim it garbage. Furthermore, you have disregarded what I have explained to you, with no further questions, no relaying what you do and do not understand, and still claim that Evolution is a bunch of hop-skotch. If you do not care for learning about something you do not know, then that is fine by me. Just don't claim Evolution is BS and waste my time.

And what's this guy telling then?

Okay, why can't they speak? If I buy an ape and lock it up in a cage with a vacuum, will it learn how to vacuum my room? :l
Can I teach it to dance?

what im saying is ( that not evolving) that being a personal smartness) that the common culture we have set a standard for people and the day one person grows wings they will be put in a hospital and diognosed with a Medical illness.. humans will still change but never change from homo sapiens.. and as for robots out of an icecream machine... i can do that right know.. but i would need a harddrive and a programmed function

o_O, but because an apes so intelligent, If I say dance it will dance. If I say make me a pie, it will do so if I give it ingredients and a mixer.

If you teach them how, then they will. Simply saying a word without them knowing what it means doesn't show inteligence either. Someone could be a genius, but only speaks English and Mandarin. If someone tells them to "ambulare" and they don't, it dosen't make them stupid. If you tell a kid to dance without explaining what dancing is, they won't either.

But no one taught an ape how to shoot guns or use weapons. but they succeeded. Thats what someone said on here. That apes did that to survive. If I put an ape in a cage with a vacuum plugged into a outlet, will it start or figure out how to vacuum? *-*
Or a guitar plugged in a amp. ETC

If apes are so intelligent why can't they learn english. We humans evolved from them. We are so alike to apes yes?
