I totally agree with Afterburner.
Yayyy... When people agree with me, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
why not a sudo futuristic, utopian, wild west, marshal law, no one is in charge, but everyone looks out for each other.
That's pretty genius actually. But a monarchy would still be better.
i mean who decided america needs cars, to heck with cars, everyone rides motorcycles
DUDE YES! I was think the exact same thing yesterday. But I was thinking: "Oh wait, what about little kids that can't drive motorcycles?" . Then I remembered one word: "Sidecars" ... Then I thought: "Well what if someone needs to move from like one house to another?" Then I came up with a solution: Rental trucks. Just big ol' trucks that you can rent when you need to do some big transporting. But other than that... motorcycles FTW!
and what is this public school system, lets make it international, and let anyone who wants to learn, learn.
Yeah school is a suck. How about I go to the local library and learn about what profession I want to enter, rather than do school and study in all the assorted, random, and pointless subjects that don't interest me? The world would be much more efficient if people concentrated in one specific, occupational field. Because not only would they be really good at it because they have studied it for their whole lives, but since they chose the subject, they would strive to be better at what they do.
But then I thought to myself: "Oh wait, if we let kids choose what they want to do, they'll probably all say that they'll want to be astronauts and racecar drivers." So the kids will obviously need a little guidance, but that can be provided by parents. Then I thought: "Oh wait, kids are still going to need to know basic grammar and arithmetic, so how are they going to learn that?" Then I thought of two words, or maybe it's one word, or maybe it's hyphenated, anyway:
Home school. ... I've been homeschooled for my whole life, and look at me. Have I made a single punctuation error in this whole wall o' text? Maybe. But only one or two if any. Now go browse around the forums and read a few posts... I'm sure you'll be able to tell who the public-schoolers are pretty quickly. ... So I think once a kid has passed like maybe 6th or 7th grade and they have a fair understanding of basic grammar and math, that's when they can decide for themselves.
Example: My older brother has been studying computers ever since... It might be the 6th grade, but I'll have to ask him... Ever since he was in the 6th grade, he began checking out books from the library about computer programming, and he subscribed to the magazine called "PC world". Ever since then, he's taught himself to be an expert computer programmer, technician, and general computer-maintenance type-guy. He got an internship at a big software company when he was just 16 years old and got paid 20$ an hour. He's also built my family a super-powerful computer that's capable of running any game at maximum detail. And he's now at collage majoring in computer science, and he's gotten straight A's in first semester because he's a friggin' genius. Oh, and I forgot to mention that he even started kindergarten when he was 4 years old instead of 5 because he's just that smart. And since he's a grade ahead, he went to college at age 17 instead of 18 and he still got nuthin' but A's.

Now I'm not nearly as smart as he is because I wasn't able to find my talent as quick as he did. But I have, in fact, found my talent and it's writing fiction books. As you can see in
my old thread here. And
please don't necro it. If you want to talk to me about it,
comment on my profile. But anyway. I'm writing it out into a full book. I have 12 chapters done already and I hope to get it published before the end of the year. And I'm gonna make millions!!! But anyway...

Maverick4, your video was hilarious! XD So yeah... I think that demonstrates anarchy is not the best solution...... P.S. when your whole post is a link, that's considered impersonating a mod.
