Considering how many things rely on electricity nowadays, it would lead to some very unpleasant events... Just think of things like cooling systems (in fridges, nuclear plants...), and there's certainly more I'm too lazy to think or search about now.
In more day-to-day terms, we would have to use more candles. I think evenings would be much more cozy^^ People would have to interact socially more often (some families might even break apart because of that).. and of course no ice for you. We would rely on fresh products (the whole alimentation would be turned upside down).
If there was no electricity then there would probably be raids and craziness in my area. I'd proabably have to move somewhere else or the government would support us until they could figure something else.
We rely too much on electricity. Middle Ages had NO electricity, just fireplaces and candles. Personally, I wouldn't care as much, except I won't be able to talk here on AG. =(
:O!!!! Don't take my electricity away! That would mean no Internet and no TV. We would go back to being bored at night and totally disconnected from the rest of the World. No instant info, no AC, no cold water, no frozen food. We'll all get kidney stones because our food will sit in salt for preservation. No radio, CD players, computers. Ahh, I'm already going nuts!
Electricity is for weaklings! I have a warehouse of old-fashioned metal glass lanterns, like the ones found in Skyrim. Rot in darkness, I shall have the light!
