March 11th: Don't Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland

So it’s the end of the world. So what? Who says that just because you’re under constant threat of giant spiders, roving bands of armed thugs, or deadly fluctuating extreme temperatures you can’t still have fun? We here at Armor Games Studios are sick of people wailing about the apocalypse. This one, at least, is one worth looking forward to.

Launching March 11th on Steam, GOG, and Kartridge for PC/Mac, Scriptwelder’s Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland is a pixelart point-and-click sci-fi thriller adventure where players are tasked with helping one lone man survive after the end of the world, using a series of seemingly prophetic dreams to prepare his base against the dangers headed his way every night. The game will be available for $14.99USD on launch with a 15% launch week discount. Learn more about Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland and wishlist it on Steam!

The trick is, you only have so much time in your day, and certain actions like choosing to fortify your windows, or repair something, or travel from one location to another, take time away from your clock. (Regular gameplay does not impact your time, so explore at will!) At the end of the day, when the clock runs out, whether David survives the night depends on what puzzles you’ve solved, and whether you’ve figured out how to logically prepare for whatever incoming danger you’re facing. After all, iron bars on your windows might stop, say, a group of armed raiders, but it won’t do much against a brutal heat wave.

Scriptwelder has been a beloved creator of free web games for years, and Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland is his first full-length premium adventure. We hope you’ll check the game out when it releases, and help us in spreading the news!
