The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

7. I remember that a month ago while I was in Primošten, there was this "software development" competition. So while these two people were about to show their app right after their presentation, Windows decided to say "Screw you! Imma update now!".

So, imagine you're an eighth-grader
Public speaking in front of a nearly-full audience.
The judges have become impatient.
So has the audience.
And then, windows decides it wants to update itself.
And the whole audience starts laughing. Sure, not at you, but they're not laughing with you, either.

It was very, very painful to watch.

@KatPryde how can't you
turn off all the updates, huh?
What OS (do) you have?

8. I had something similar once. I was making a simulation in the last moment (thanks to my amazing organisation) with the leader of academic (CAD) circle. All we could make was a slideshow due to lags in CAD. When people saw that "video", there were even laughs (about 200 people on the lecture hall). It was so slow that I had to tell everything about it in 1/4 of video length. I uploaded this simulation on my youtube channel. I made it decently years after the conference :-P Also there are still pictures of that presentation on university website... Hahaha they don't convey how weak it was xD

10. Youtube might help you with turning them off. This is a nice video. I can't help but smile widely when hearing his accent xD

11. Tip for life: never try to spend 2 hours in a row studying and memorizing things without stopping to do anything. I did it today and didn't feel very well when I was done

12. Ladies and Gentlemen! I also have a tip for you: first pleasure then duty. Hmm, something feels wrong with that... Whatever.

15. What? It can't be...Win10 doesn't have a direct option to turn off updates? Note to self: "Stay in Windows 7 for as long as humanly possible. Windows after Windows 7 are all $#!@"

One question to the people below me. Does anyone like the flat tile designs of win 8 and 10?

17. I know what was wrong! I forgot about a comma before then. Fisher, I don't need to stalk anyone to assume that 90% of Earth's population more than often has such priorities. Yes, including me.
@sciller45 in W10 there is normal start and these things. I always ignore "flat tiles", they weren't useful even once.

20. I was more thinking of how it looks rather than how it functions. Windows XP had this really nice looking 3D-ish start button, but the new windows are flaaaat. Flatter than a [OFFENSIVE JOKE HAS BEEN CENSORED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE], amirite

I mean, this...

VS this (How I guess it'd look like in flat design)

Please excuse the image size.

22. No way that you meant these tiles all the time? I was sure you meant the linked tiles on Start. And the new logo? Minimalism is the current design mainstream simply everywhere. I like it on mobile - where everything starting from soft is designed that way. But on PC i prefer shiny thingies xD

23. It may just be my unwillingness to change, but I really like the old looking buttons with shine and shadows. I dislike flat designs. I think they're just. Meh. Like there's not much thought put into them. It feels like they took paint, made a logo and only used the preset colours.

24. I have the same. Somehow when there's more effort seen, I appreciate graphics more. Like infinity engine games - they had to paint lots of things manually, so terrain could be less dull. I don't care if it doesn't look perfectly - the technology was primitive.

Did you see the first version of Armor Games site? Games of Gondor. The tabs on the header! Just make the whole site more powter plus take the current AG's layout and that's perfect for me. Although minimalism is so modern, ehh...
