The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

It's necessarily! 0_0

negative numbers doesn't exist in the nature

What about imaginary numbers? Or zero? XD

15. Imaginary might be negative, but they can't exist anywhere else than in imagination, used for speculations etc. Negative at least exist in changing the coordinates or in calculations. Zero is not negative. BTW @kalisenpai check out this forum game: CT500 it's a lil bit more complicated than CT100 but seems interesting ^^

wrong, it is freezing cold here, -5°C so, yes, negative numbers exist in nature xD

1 (18) - is "bright outside at night because of the snow" cold enough?

19. oups, i just see i have one of my post on game comment section removed, i didn't i break any rules it was just advices and answer to a question i though i would have a notification and explanation so i don't make a mistake again. (especially because removed after few days, few players answers and "likes&quot(maybe not the good section to complain, especially if it involve a mod/admin answer reseting the count xD)
nice haiku @KatPryde btw ^^

Wrong. That's not -5 in the nature That's just another example on "how we label things using negative numbers - example -5 Celcius Degrees". Negative numbers would exist in the nature if you could take -3 apples to your own hands. It exists in phenomenons, because people thinked them of to describe them.

(22) -5°C? "bright outside at night because of the snow"?
maaan... I wish weather here was like that...

But hey, negative numbers do exist! I see them in my Math classes all the time!

how about negative mass? we can probably make it!

@Olaffours Visit a doctor

antimatter ?

Asking about the same thing. You can't take -5 positrons or, say, -5 antiapples. I'll help you with other ideas: negative mass, charges, acceleration, debts.

negative numbers don't exist in the nature

You see it is not my opinion - it is a fact. If you don't agree with this sentence, then you understand it differently. Negative sign fills a very important role, but you won't find it in the nature itself. All negative quantities and representations are human constructs. Do your own research, it's not a good place to teach :-/ I had loooooong hours at university about that and BTW it was just the surface of physics xD

how about negative mass? we can probably make it!

@armorplayergc This is the closest, but it's also just a label - used in theoretical physics:

Such matter would violate one or more energy conditions and show some strange properties(...) - wikipedia

And now can we switch the topic? xD

25. By flipping the switch you saved the day.

Oright.... can't erase that. I'm one of the last people to teach physics. Lo(...)ng hours - in fact I barely passed it
The sober explanation is here: Antimatter could be considered as negative, cause matter + antimatter = 0. But 0 means annihilation here. We have 0 mass after it, it doesn't mean that matter = positive and antimatter = negative it's a presentation of reaction. Sorry for writing about these thingies --'

26. Obviously negative numbers does not exist in nature (that's why they're not classified as "Natural numbers&quot. But, does zero exist, as the absence of something? Or is it just a mankind creation?
