The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

1. Moegreche is a mayonnaise jar? That begs the question, is mayonnaise an instrument?
I really hope everyone gets that reference or I'll feel devastated XD

5. Do any of us really? In the grand scheme of things do we really do anything other than for either our own or another's pleasure?

6. Don't worry. We all go through an existential crisis at some point(s) in our lives, so might as well throw yourself off a bridge. Do it. You are useless. Do it. No one wants you here. Do it and it'll all be fine. Death is like sleep after all.

Too dark? A reminiscence of High School psychology tells me that some wise guy said "Life is pointless". So, best thing to do is to tell life "******* you, life, you may have no point, but I'll be happy anyway".
If your existential crises lasts longer than mine usually do, you'll still be having one by the time you read this.

Don't ask me what to do, I just distract myself with anything and everything. Go on with your life, work on your hobbies or go the WEPR, read and ask the morons (like Moe) there. I'm sure they'll be happy to give you philosophy before they eventually go on to have a fight to the death over that one thing Nietzsche said.

Or whatever goes on there.

Point is, they're smarter than I am, so disregard most of what I said and go there.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Hunter, if you ask me, I suppose life hasn't much of a purpose, but if you look at the way I analyze things, I always end up deducing that they are somehow meaningless.

Sorry for the wall of text.

7. @sciller45 ... thank you so much! Finally someone gets how I feel on a daily basis
life may seem meaningless because it is
well that's all I have to say other than screw life and do what you want.

8. "They" said that life is meaningless, I respectfully disagree, I believe that life has a purpose, and you just have to know that purpose. If there is no purpose, you wouldn't exist.

9. *sigh*

man, I remember back in the good times of my life...

2011 was between "meh" and "good", 2012 was pretty good, 2013 was awesome and 2014 was the best year of my life

I remember that back then, I didn't question if life was pointless, meaningless or anything, and I remember I wasn't a very anxious person like I am nowadays

last years were tough for me...

the more you question what is the purpose of life or stuff like this, the worse you'll feel... it's kinda hard to stop questioning this sometimes

but the biggest problem for me is that I'm a very anxious person...

I honestly have no idea WHY stuff began getting tough, I don't know if it was anxiety or anything, or if anxiety was a consequence of that... like, really... I have no idea why things aren't as good as they were back then

but really, one tip I can give is: do whatever you do, do NOT question if life has a purpose, the more you ask it, the worse you'll feel!

I think I'm slightly better this year than I was last year, but I still wish things could be as good as they were before

I think the main problems are that I'm very anxious, and that I'm usually excessively perfectionist

really, being perfectionist might be good sometimes depending on what you want to do, but being TOO perfectionist is awful because it doesn't matter what you do, you'll always feel like "ugh, it's so easy and I can't do it" or "ugh, it should've been easy to do, but I had a hard time doing it" or "UGH! can't I do anything right?!"

if I stopped being too perfectionist and anxious, I think things could improve a lot

(but TBH, I wish I knew why stuff started getting like this)

well... sorry for the long text, and sorry if I sounded dark...

1.

If there is no purpose, you wouldn't exist.

Everything exists for a reason, but not everything has purpose.

The thing I dislike about the idea of an "objective" purpose to life (usually subjectively determined by any group/society/culture) is the possibility of failing that purpose and therefore life. Not having a purpose means you can decide your own personal goal/purpose and achieve it, whatever it is. Just my opinion ^^
