If this happens childhood obesity will at least double or even triple. Because at school they have no choice but to sit there and do nothing. But at least at home they have a choice in it.

The only reason that there is a summer vacation is so farmers sons could work in the field. There have been presidents trying to take away summer vacation.
The school day is long enough, but I think Obama should make the school year longer
We already go to school for 3/4 of the year. That's about 2 times the amount of school you need in my opinion. The teachers should just teach you, not give homework, test you, and then you move on. No need to spend 12 years in high school doing what you could do in 4-5 years easy. Same thing as before, school is already taxing my patience and tolerance, if he makes it longer in any way, then I wont be going to school for the period that it was extended.
