Why do half the people who visit the WEPR forums smear Christianity? Why don't you people realize that, yeah, Christians can be real dumb-a** mofo's from time to time, but yet there are many, many Christian organizations out there that do good all across the globe. Why must you spend your time trying to convince people that Christians are bad people when that is simply not true?
I can say that I would fight for the right of every man, woman, and child to believe what ever it is they wish to believe. In that case I care not whether they are theist or atheist, they have every right to believe whatever they wish.
Then why do you argue against Christianity?! You said yourself that every man, woman, and child has a right to believe what ever they believe in. Why do you contradict your words with your actions?
The word virgin shouldn't be capitalized. Anyways, this is the one bible story that has absolutely no proof what so ever. People do not get pregnant without sex, unless they had in vitro fertilization at that time.
Every religion is crap. I don't care if it is Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, Daoism, whatever, they are all meaningless, because they are not true.
Hey now. don't go smearing EVERYTHING. They are meaningless to you, not to the people who practice their religion. People that will step up to defend their religion, you can shoot them down. But no the innocent believers. If they want to believe something bigger is out there, they can. But don't go and tell them that they are wrong for believing it. It is a personal opinion and they are entitled to have one. Okay?

BECAUSE HE FREAKING FEELS LIKE IT. He can express his opinion freely. Has he argued against Christianity? or has he just been simply stating facts?
Because I have the right to state my own beliefs and attempt to change their minds. Never have I talked about atheism to a Hindu, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, etc.
Christianity however came to my door, and tried to rob me of my own belief. In that case it's open season, call me a hypocrite if you will.
Why would anyone die for atheism exactly? It's not a religion, it's not something that I could possibly denounce, and there are no repercussions for not dying for my lack of belief. Also, this in no way undermines that atheism is true; dying for something is easy it's a one time deal. The only reason Christians become martyrs is their afraid of being condemned to hell if they deny god.

Seriously? Now I know why you all complain that other people who claim to be Christian begin to loose their temper. You don't think! You see someone else's reply that isn't for Christianity and say, "Oh, that must be right!" and then continue smear whoever defended against that? You all are as bad as children! I would expect elementary children to behave like this, but young adults? I would hope not. 3rd Graders take whatever they see and soak it up like a sponge. They don't think, they don't have the maturity to do so yet. I will stay here as long as time permits, but if you really think that getting someone to loose their temper is a form of victory in a debate, then why do you do it? People became martyrs for the same reason that people have marched on Washington.
They feel so strongly about something that they must do something about what they believe is right, or should be done. Then people march to washington, and some people martyr themselves for the faith that they have. They don't martyr themselves decause they are afraid of hell if they defy God. If they were a true christian, they would know there is nothing like a sin that can not be looked over. God says in the Bible, that when you get to heaven that your sins will be as far from you as the east is from the west. You first have to believe that Jesus is the saviour of mankind. Good works won't get you there.

Then should I treat Christianity any different? Like I said. You are not wrong for practicing it; all of them are just that--faith. What is wrong is what the circumstances of practicing the religion follows. All religion is a shot in the dirt. You can practice any one you want, the result is going to be the same. I won't criticize ANYONE for practicing a religion. I will criticize you if you spout that your religion is best, if you recruit people to your religion without the recruit's consent, and if you use your religion against others.
Bring on the fire, God's a tyrannical, hypocritical, homophobic, lying, back stabbing, hating being why exactly would I want to spend eternity with him instead of enjoying what time I have left on Earth?
