I know there's an annual Colony tournament that would like to be started, but I want to lay down some ground rules from the start.
When this tournament is over, we'll lock this topic until next year, when we'll update the thread title to reflect the current year.
RULES
1. This tournament does not "belong" to Quicksmasher/Fasty. He may have started it in the past, but he is no longer welcome as a member of our site FOR ANY PURPOSE, even if just to post on forums. The tournament will only be called the "Colony Tournament".
2. In compliance with our other rules, players proved to be cheating will face a 31-day temporary ban from the site. Circumvention of this ban, or a second hacking offense, will result in a permanent ban from the site. NO EXCEPTIONS. Report them to SoymasterYos or brp47 who will investigate and report to me.
3. Players who are permanently banned from the site may participate as GUESTS (not logged into the site or the game) if the tournament planners allow it, but creation of an account for this tournament will GET THE TOURNAMENT THREAD SHUT DOWN, and bans will be handed out. End of discussion.
4. The last active thread had a HUGE amount of text (copied from at least one or two other threads) written as a graphic image, which is unacceptable by our forum rules. We do NOT allow posting images of text, or posting text in alternate colors. Please continue to abide by these rules. Other tournament threads were shut down because we suspected that Fasty was trying to circumvent his bans in order to revive the tournament, or because they broke other forum rules (advertising, posting text as an image, etc).
As moderators and staff of the company, we still have the final say on whether a thread lives or dies, including this one.

so the top three from this group move through the comp to higher levals to play another 7 round agest new players.. soon only 8 will remain.. the one witht the most wins will win the whole comp.. do you think it would work like this.. therefore complaining bout noobs will be silly case everybody will get him.. and its fair and not silly? what do you think

this is the part where you messed up... you would be teamed up with someone else who won if u won the round and someone who lost if u lost.
inflict + pac vs. chess + genhar (pac wins) mule + yos vs. pegg + draco (draco wins)
so now theres people on the border line of moving up or down into losing bracket or winning bracket.
inflict + yos vs. pac + mule (mule wins)
inflict + genhar vs. chess + yos pac + pegg vs. draco + mule
It will go something like this and at the end we could do something like you said. Or we could just do the plain and simple you play everyone you play with everyone but thats boring. My way actually will pair you up with people of your skill level.
seeing as not many have voted on this its down to chessmaster to decide if it should be mix up decided teams... i hope you choose mix case that look fun but its your choice... we await your judgement

Its to hard to decide hahaha. I get people want premade teams cause they dont wanna end up with a noob but also if you do the mix it up thing that inflict was talking about everyone would play with him so... So i guess its going to be mixed up teams then...
People can start signing up now. I will be collecting players who want to join this tournament. If you want to sign up just post your name, timezone your in, and times your usually online during. I will update the list of people playing every 48 hours unless it is unneeded to be updated.

Also, I vote for pre-made teams you shouldn't have to lose because your teammate doesn't know how to play, I think that's as stupid as taking away a whole government (YOS last year) I think it's ridiculous to have random teams.... also, I tallied it up and I have some friends that want to speak up for 1v1 tourney, (You also told me we would have a week at least to vote 1v1 and I got back from a temp ban and it progressed to this???
