This is your friendly neighborhood lexophilic lapin with a forum-changing announcement. Yes! Gantic, once again, is being unnecessarily proactive and knocking things off-kilter, all pell mell and helter skelter. Go hide in your fallout shelter!
Here I introduce the Legendaria Immaginaria or the Legendarium of the Imaginarium. It will be a thread, an archive (kingryan probably heard that), of Amwian threads of some legendariness, be they story threads or art threads. This is a call to you, fellow Amwians, to nominate threads for absolute and eternal legendariness. So what threads will be accepted?
Here are a few criteria: - Must not be active - Must not be exclusive - Must not be your own - Must be memorable
Current List of Memorable Threads. There are a few I cannot seem to find like the 'art battle' thread with Cenere, Zophia, and Strop.
Test post to see what it looks like, though I'm certain this would certainly look better if I could post in black, because the Legendaria Imaginaria thread doesn't look as great in moderator blue.
Jdogg started with really basic animation and then upped his skill to the next level and then far beyond. Some really great animation.
Then, iMogwai's thread, which was inspired by Jdogg's thread. iMogwai did a lot of great animation and they were either humourous or action packed. I remember iMogwai's thread inspired a slew of animation threads as well.
I'm going to add almost everyone's art/music/writing threads, active or not, provided that they had been active for some amount of time, so maybe someone who's been active for about ~6 months with at least ~10 pages to their thread unless anyone chooses to opt out certain threads. I might add their lesser works if they already qualify for 6 mo. and 10 pp. in another thread depending on how the formatting will look.
What I'm looking for now are nominations for threads that aren't exactly a specific user's, like the ferret thread, which will be eligible when it's over.
I'm also looking for input as to whether the memorable threads list should be chronological by year or loosely chronological but in categories as it is now?
