The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

69. Steam still works for me on Windows 7. It turns out that warning was all a lie.

70. Yep, that's exactly what I had to do. Though to be fair, it seems to have been caused by a power outage during Texas' snowstorm in 2021, so for once it wasn't Microsofts fault.

Nice! I really wasn't sure if they'd follow through on fulling preventing Windows 7. May it live as long as XP once did

71. Warning wasn't a *lie*, it just means they won't be checking Win7 for compatibility. God knows, in a few months or years, it'll break on some dependency Win7 just don't have.

I've since switched to Win10 with Classic Shell. Not the happiest about it, but most programs work now, so yay!

72. I believe it still says something like "Will stop running on this computer in 0 days" and then it runs anyway. If that is the case, then it is a lie.

73. That's fair. From my experience Windows 10 isn't too bad. It's pretty good with compatibility with older games. I've only run into a game or two from like the late 90's - early 2000's where I've had major issues running. Even then, they were smaller budget games so it's not too surprising. Hoping Windows 12 is announced soon and follows the pattern of being good after a bad Windows OS

75. I haven't a clue about OS's, I just know I don't like macOS or whatever is on apple stuff. It just feels too techy or minimalist. Idk, just don't like it.

77. The games were Battleship: Surface Thunder (not exactly a high profile, or likely even well made game. And deep sea fishing 2 offshore angler (so obscure I can't even find a video). I forgot there are also some freezing issues with the greatest game ever create, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, though that's likely more due to hardware and GPU software features than Windows

80. I'm sorry I can't live up to a hero, but I can try my best and bring some help in the count. Nothing like some old blood back in the game, after all!

82. Olden days is a relative term. Anyway, activity-wise, not doing so well, though we have done worse. In those cold, cold 2020-23...

People-wise, I'm sure you'll remember Manly, Nichodemus, SirLegendary, and some of the mods. MattEmAngel and R2D21999 were there for a short time. Probably new to you, ancient to me.

Thread-wise, er. You're looking at it. Haven't been contests in a long while. Saphire24 posts poems once in a while. I finished an old RP last October. I'll probably completely rewrite that one soon.
WEPR hasn't been active in a while neither. Not that I'd ever venture there. The minds there are... intimidating.

83. Ah I remember the old days where I'd venture into WEPR as 13-14 year old.. Very stupid things were said, mostly by me.
