After several of requests I've decided to open this. I have no idea how the clans played it so I'll leave it up to the players to form the rules. But, form the rules the way you played the original version. Ask JohnGarell for questions I suppose.
It wouldn't be much more appropriate, either is fine, a colon is just more widely used, anyway cut him some slack, English isn't even his first language (I think it is Swedish, but if I'm wrong please correct me) yet he speaks it better than some on here
Haha this clan war is turning more into a grammar war! By the way, EmperorPalpatine is right; semicolons are not appropriate in John Garrell's sentences. Semicolons are used to separate two (or more) *complete* thoughts. "Well" and "By the way" are *not* complete thoughts, but introductory phrases; therefore, commas are the correct punctuation.

what an unsubtle attempt at trying to call me stupid, anyhow although I don't feel the need for exceptional grammar on the internet I am actually extremely literate, and am predicted A*s in my English, so please pour forth your mighty knowledge, oh wise one, do tell me of this, mad, insanely complicated concept that you call Grammar, please explain it as you would in a way to one of your insight and intelligence of grammar master, (if you can imagine such a concept) and explain it to me in my peasant ignorance, for I must be a moron, for you have spoken to me briefly in a game forum on the internet, most people would assume they couldn't judge someone character from this brief interaction, NO, you oh clever master of words, are so intelligent, that you must know!
