As you may have guessed, this is a compilation, or a list if you're that kind of person, of people's birthdays. Give me your birthday and you shall be added to my list.
Speaking of which, did you know that in a room of 23 people, there is a 50% chance that two of them will have the same birthday?
That acctually happened to me once. We were doing something in gym and this girl asked me when my birthday was, she said her name was also July 23. So now whenever I see her I call her my twin.
My guess is this is a completely random/bogus statistic, but we can examine it if you wish.
There are 365 days in a year. There are 12 months in a year.
If we took a truly random sample of 23 people, according to this random chart I pulled up, we would see two people in every month, except August, which would have 3.
Each month has on average 30.4375 days (including February 29th every four years) which would mean that there would be a 6.6% chance for every month that the same day and month would be shared by two people, except for in August, which would have a 9.9% chance of a shared date.
Basically, a low chance from a truly random sample, but not impossible.
I'm thinking that the myth/rumor/whatever it is he's saying comes from is if you add up the chance for each month, which ends with an 82.5% chance of a shared date. Unfortunately, that's not how odds work. The fact remains that your % chance of someone sharing a birthday with someone else in the room, assuming it is truly random, is 23/365, which is 6.3%. (The reason for the percent deviation is because I'm not paying attention and accidentally made it 25 people by assigning it to two every month except for 3 in August and I don't feel like going back and fixing it.)
@ImTheMostManlyMan: wow nice threat man XD btw I was born on 15 Dec 1991 lah XD
But I have 1 suggestion for ur list b-day list: can u put them in some order so that we can follow this list better, for example u can put the list into the order of who was born 1st, then the 2nd oldest one, etc. (for instantly, Armpit will be put 1st in the list, coz he was born in 1980 then Ernie is the 2nd oldest-1982, then..........to the youngest one: spikeabc-2000 lah XD ) oh and about pickpocket, just put him outside the list with the note: "unknown which millennium " lah XD
@ImTheMostManlyMan: oh ok but too bad that some1 alr thought about the same idea about order ur list :-P r u the one who also have the same thought like me or it s another one who suggest the changing ur list into age order? just currrrrrrrrrious lah XD
Surprisingly, if you look atpage 4 of this thread, in a list of 24 users, there are two who share the same birthday, which would support Soccerdude's theory. Just putting that out there.

Or is it? I tested it again, this time using the list on page 9. What I did was take away everyone on the page 4 list from the page 9 list to get a list of 22 users. Of those 22 users, there are two who share the same birthday (pickpocket and Skulltivator). This, again, supports Socceerdude's theory.
